Deuxième passage, et je reviendrai, cuisson parfaite, portion généreuse, les gérants sont geniaux, c'est bon enfant. On est revenu un jour de problème de rideau, on aurait dit que le restaurant était privatisé, quoi de mieux ?

Lovely dinner with great steak and frites, intimate as the whole restaurant seats 30 tops, and just lovely owner and staff for the meal. Particularly important in such close dining. Excellent steak au poivre and fries perfectly crisped. Great wines to pair as well, without insane wine prices. Such a great meal.

If you want great steak this is the place. It is expensive, 48 euros for a faux filet and chips, but the meat is perfect - don't go if you want your steak anything other than rare, you are wasting your money. The owner is gruff, but welcoming, he cares deeply about what you eat, even if he isn't wishing you a great day every 5 minutes - he is French not American so the food is more important than blowing smoke up the client's skirts.
