Their pastrami sandwich is a journey for your taste buds, with layers of succulent pastrami and an array of vibrant and fresh toppings dancing in a field of flavor. The melt-in-your-mouth pastrami harmonizes perfectly with the crunchy veggies and tangy sauce, creating a symphony of tastes. ~chill~ vibes and laid-back ambiance at San Benito House Deli. Best bread in town, best sandwiches in town. A must-do stop if you’re in HMB. Prices have gone up (now close to $12 after tax for a sandwich) but worth every penny. The line might be out the door, but it’s worth the wait. Note: the line for the deli is separate than the line for the bar/restaurant (and is much better:)

If you're looking for a tasty bite when in Half Moon Bay, check out San Benito House's sandwich counter, facing their patio. We had this delicious turkey sandwich and pastrami sandwich on their homemade, fresh that day wheat bread. That bread is crazy good. Nice patio where you can relax.

If you get here for lunch... get here early and get in line.

Good sandwiches. The pastrami is served hot and its really tender. What is good is the bread... the bread is made fresh and it taste that way. Crust is crusty and the middlen is light and airy. The wheat bread has a very bold crust.
