The receptionist lady at the front desk was rude. Not welcoming or even a smile. I’ve stayed at ritz many times over the years and never experienced such an unpleasant feeling.

Horrible place during the events.
Tinny bar full of corporate people with no room and long wait time for dinner even if the table are empty.

Don’t stay here during the events or conferences. No capacity to handle all the people.

Stunningly beautiful. Great setting. Jason was an awesome waiter. Friendly and helpful. I could have sat there for hours.....but life needs to move on

Horrible construction, underhanded service. They apparently do mention a "refresh" on their app, and on the reservation confirmation, but if you're not looking for it, it's easy to miss. They tried to appease me by moving me to a different room- twice- but each time the noise was crazy loud. Jackhammers, drills, hammering- this is more than a "refresh". Ultimately I felt mislead and manipulated into staying at a place I never would have otherwise. The construction noise even disturbed my massage at the spa. Food was middling to bad- an okay burger and some soggy sockeye did not impress. Such a disappointing experience considering I saved (Bonvoy) points for many years to be able to stay here. If this is how Marriott treats their members, what will they do to you?
