We came here for coffee and beer. The coffee is freshly ground which is not common in Zanzibar. The staff is very friendly

Just amazing…..Willi Mina ,ruby, Antonio, Samuel and Paulo just pure joy and happiness , amazing food and drinks as well

I didn't stay at this hotel, but visited it several times for meals and drinks.
I loved their kitchen design and tasty food. Trio of tuna is recommended for those who don't have issues with eating raw fish.
Special highlight is the crew of the restaurant/bar under the supervision of lovely Welemina (I hope I spelled the name correctly). They are a true spirit of the place, always polite, friendly, and positive. Rubi is a star ????
There is also a kite station onsite with professional, helpful crew and good equipment.
I would also like to mention my respect to the owners of the hotel as they really support sustainability, both environmental and social.

Nice place to drink something at Jambiani beach. From the restaurant good view over the beach and sea.

Der Fishing Trip war super. Thomas und sein Team sind sehr engagiert das Fisch ins Boot kommt. Wir haben einen schönen Yellowfinthuna und eine Königsmakrele gefangen. Später waren wir im Restaurant und haben sehr gut gegessen. Auch dafür ein grosses Danke. Wir haben natürlich Thunfisch gegessen. ????

Des propriétaires super sympa. Bel endroit propre directement sur la plage.

I am here to review the restaurant. I ordered the mixed salad and got shredded cucumbers being 90% of the dish. I don't eat cucumbers. The only redeeming part was that the salad dressing on it was delicious. That all I ate. Waiter came saw the situation didn't say a word. Didn't want to cause a fuss. You would think an experienced waiter would ask a guest when they see they barely ate the food. Service needs a-lot of improvement here. Otherwise my friends did enjoy their meals.

Great service and wifi. Outdoor gym and wide variety of food and tour options.

ATTENTION, au beachman du BLUE REEF.
PANDO ou PANDU (aussi appelé captain cheapest). Mielleux puis agressif, il nous a arnaqué puis menacé.
Il est menteur et violent, faites très attention !
Ne prenez RIEN avec lui! Notre trip (et celui de pas mal d'autres touristes) a très mal tourné.
Nous l'avons croisé face au BLUE REEF, il nous a convaincu d'annuler une sortie pêche au gros pour la faire avec lui, plus chère mais plus gros bateau (nous étions 4).
Après validation ce fut taxi de jambiani jusque kizimkazi le lendemain matin.
Et là.... Déconvenue, une barque comme les autres, avec 3 planches et un moteur de 15cv.
2 cannes à pêche pour 4, pas d'ombrelle, la moitié de la commande boisson et fruit, bref une blague sachant que la veille nous avons pris ce type de bateau pour 50€ la journée.
Nous décidons d'annuler et de partir snorkeling avec le local pour 60€.
Le bateau (le même que prévu pour la pêche) est tombé plusieurs fois en panne nous obligeant à retourner péniblement sur la plage où nous avons du insister pour changer le moteur et quand même faire le trip.
Après 1h30 ce fut le retour (déjà) .
Le PANDU nous a harcelé par téléphone, WhatsApp durant toute la période (lien drive ) exigeant 70$ pour le taxi et les fruits (tarif normal 15$).
Il a fait DETOURNER et arrêter notre taxi sur le retour (ils se connaissent tous) pour nous extorquer finalement 45$ (nous avons demandé la police). C'était plus qu'inconfortable et nous nous sommes senti réellement en insécurité.
Par la suite en échangeant avec d'autres locaux, nous apprenons qu'il est connu pour ces arnaques et il apparaît déjà pas mal de fois en commentaire négatif.

Great place!

We ate lobster, excellent taste, well seasoned, many side dishes

Gepflegte, geteilte Anlage mit Bungalows und Zimmern.
Bungalows sind klein und sauber.
Bei den Bungalows gibt es eine sehr gute Pizza und Cocktails.
Sehr nettes und freundliches Personal.
Bei den Zimmern im Restaurant ist die Auswahl ein bißchen größer.
Der Strand direkt vor der Tür und bei Ebbe schon mal ca 400 Meter breit.

Good lodge with varying room categories to fit your needs and budget. Owners are excellent ???? folks residing on site, making sure lodgers get the value paid for.

They were very quick to offer solutions to a room booking issue we had.

By the way, they churn out great woodfired pizzas!
