The restaurant looks quite swish. Good for a more upscale meal, albeit no white tablecloth and the service was average. The waiter spilled water on the table refilling glasses, and didn't bother to wipe up!
Then there's the food. Some dishes good, others not. Very hit and miss.
The sea urchin was a tiny portion, and weird with the citrus marinade.
The fish meatballs was tasty, but two small balls for c20 euros was a massive ripoff.
The orzo prawn pasta was the best dish. Definitely order this.
The grilled squid starter was tasty too.
The pricing, however, left us disappointed. We ate in several good restaurants in Athens (CTC, Varoulko, Simul, etc) and the food here isn't up to the same standard, yet priced the same.
We also didn't order bread. But they just served it. Charging 3.5 euros per person.
They used to have a tasting menu, but no longer. Maybe the good reviews were for that?
