GASTHOF KOHLERN ^{* * *}

Oggi siamo stati alla spa, il posto è davvero bello e molto suggestivo, il panorama è meraviglioso e il personale molto gentile. La spa è il luogo ideale per rilassarsi e staccare la spina.
Abbiamo scelto il spa day che consente di usufruire, per tutto il giorno, di sauna, bagno turco, docce, infinity pool, solarium, zona relax e una stanza d'appoggio. Dalla sauna è possibile ammirare il paesaggio, godendosi un meraviglioso momento di pace.
Vi è la possibilità di mangiare sul posto (anche senza glutine).
L'albergo è situato a Bolzano Colle raggiungibile in 12 minuti circa partendo dalla stazione. Infatti, dalla stazione è possibile prendere un bus (6 o 14 in base ai giorni), successivamente la funivia (la più antica della zona) e infine basta percorrere il sentiero sulla destra per raggiungerlo in pochi minuti di camminata.
Lo consigliamo.

Un soggiorno veramente piacevole, bellissimo raggiungere ogni giorno l’hotel con la funivia, bella e spaziosa la camera, menu eccellente e personale super simpatico, familiare e competente soprattutto con il nostro piccolo

We had a beautiful and cozy stay here. The hotel is just a quick, and manageable, funicular ride from Bolzano. The staff is attentive, accomodating and made us feel like we were at home. Would highly recommend to anyone who visits the area.

Abbiamo mangiato al ristorante. Tutto buonissimo. I ravioli superlativi. Il tris di canederli buonissimo e morbidi. Servizio impeccabile . Molto consigliato

We were staying in Bolzano city center and a local restaurant owner said Kohlern Inn was a must try for dinner. We then learned they had a little day spa with infinity pool, sauna and hot tub. We spent the afternoon relaxing ($45 pp for the day) and then had dinner. Dinner was delicious (fish & beef/potatoes) and the atmosphere was beautiful with the sun setting behind the mountains.

The staff was very passionate and caring. For an extra charge you can have drinks and snacks brought to you by the pool. We had some confusion with that process due to us not speaking Italian or German, but it was resolved.

*We took the cable car up but it stops at 7:30 pm so we took a taxi back to hotel. I think I’d suggest and earlier spa day, lunch and then taking the cable car down during sunset.

We didn’t stay overnight so we cannot review that part of Kohlern, but the place was cozy and beautiful.
