This should have been a 5 star review; the staff are attentive, the rooms are nicely appointed and the breakfast is great. Also, its a really convenient location right next to the station for visiting Pompeii.
BUT the whole thing is let down by inadequate air conditioning. In late March, with a high of 23c and not dropping much at night, the rooms are like an oven. The aircon is merely recirculating ambient air as the management decree that cooling is not required until June or something. Also, the windowless bathroom does not have any extractor fan: smelly! Safety note, the bath/shower is extremely slippery.

So only fit for use in winter really, and definitely not for menopausal women, or anyone who feels the heat.

A shame as is is otherwise a great hotel and the staff obviously take pride in it. The atrium rooms are pretty quiet too, but probably hotter than the street facing rooms. Great view from the roof terrace.

No air conditioning in the rooms makes this hotel unusable.

If it weren't for that it'd be 4 or 5 stars. Location is great for the train, breakfast was great, staff were helpful.

There's a "cooling" control, but there's no cooling. We had an atrium window, but if left open for air, there's no breeze, and it brings in cigarette smoke from elsewhere in the atrium.

Per un 4* veramente deludente. Camere nella norma piccole ma nuove. Alla Rezeption normale. Abbiamo soggiornato in una camera che dava in un cortile. Il cortile essendo chiuso faceva da effetto serra e l aria condizionata non funzionava. Lamentandoci ci hanno dato un “upgrade” camera più grande che da sulla strada. Estremare rumorosa e senza aria condizionata. Meno male che siamo in aprile, d’estate si muore. Peccato non torneremo!

Camera spaziosa e vista spettacolare; vicinissimo alla stazione e alla metro. Ottima colazione con ampia scelta; personale professionale e disponibile.
