Es war ein grandioser Ausritt! Sehr familiär, wir wurden privat abgeholt vom Hotel, heiße Getränke davor und danach. Unser Guide Sarah war einfach unglaublich. Kurze Einführung (ich saß noch nie auf einem Pferd) und schon ging es los durch malerische Landschaften, verschiedene Gangarten wenn wir wollten, und einer ganz tollen Zeit! Man merkt sie lieben was sie tun, großartige Pferde und ein atemberaubendes Erlebnis! Wenn wir noch einmal in Island sofort wieder ???? danke viking Horse und Crew für diesen einzigartigen und wundervollen Vormittag ❤️

Es war ein unglaublicher Ausritt.
Wurden sehr freundlich mit Kaffee und Tee empfangen. Für jeden Reiter*in wird das passende Pferd ausgesucht. Immer wider sehr gerne

We had a really lovely time. Viggo and his staff were friendly, helpful, and took great care of us. In addition to trail ride pace we were able to experience the Tölt (a quick but fast Icelandic gait for a horse). The horses were so well taken care of, which was very important to me.

They’ve seen this review and have now blamed me for giving them the wrong address. I confirmed the address with them at 9pm the night before in a time stamped email.

If I could give 0 stars to this company I would. I didn’t ride with them due to their own mistake with pickup, but the customer service had been absolutely shocking and I’m still chasing a refund.
I booked a ride with them months in advance and was really excited, the night before I confirmed my pickup address via email. The morning of I stood in the cold for 1hr 20 minutes waiting for them but they never came. I tried to email twice, turned my phone onto international roaming and had no missed calls. I then walked around and tried to find someone but there was no one. The worst part was I had a car and could have driven had they told me they were struggling to find me.
I emailed over the course of the day asking what had occurred. I got one line answers at best, saying things like ‘I waited for 20mins…..’ ‘you weren’t there’. I asked them where they’d gone and they emailed me a photo of the wrong street number, they went to the wrong place. They went to 2A when the email the night before specified 4A which was on a different part of the street. I was in the general area for 1.5 hours total as well.
They tried to offer me a makeup ride but I was leaving the next day and had no free time. I was devastated as I’m from Australia, this was why I tried so hard to confirm the address and be proactive.
It took 3 days for them to agree they would refund me as the mistake was there’s. That was a month ago. I’ve sent emails every week asking when I can expect the $300 aud in my account. There emails were always unprofessional, saying things like ‘we’ll keep in touch’, but then they never do. They now don’t reply to my emails at all, have told me they have no idea how to issue a refund and even after stating I would dispute it with my credit card within a week they still don’t reply to me.
Their customer service is atrocious and they’re dishonest. If they don’t know how to issue a refund with their account provider then they shouldn’t be running a business. It doesn’t take 4 weeks to find this out either. Not only did I miss out on a ride, I wasted my last day in Iceland because everywhere else was full and I had nothing booked.
Avoid this company or drive yourself to the venue. Dont expect a refund even if the mistake was on their side and don’t trust them to respond once they’ve got your money. Im disputing this with my credit card but im not hopeful I’ll get my money back.
