L'emplacement de l'hôtel est apprécié, mais le coût élevé de la nuit avec des suppléments pour les boissons, l'absence de geste d'accueil comme un cocktail /carte de bienvenue et de service de navette depuis votre hôtel sont des points négatifs. Bien que le service soit impeccable, le rapport qualité-prix ne semble pas justifié.
J’opterai pour un all inclusive la prochaine fois. Déçue

My recent stay at the Hilton in Cape Verde, Sal Island, was marked by a series of challenges that fall short of the expectations associated with a five-star hotel.

- Room Preparation and Advance Requests:
Upon arrival, the room was not prepared as expected, despite prior notification by email regarding the presence of a baby. The absence of the baby cot was a significant letdown.

- Connectivity Issues and aditional Charges:
The lack of internet access in the room resulted in significant costs, debited from my personal phone account. This unexpected situation was highly inconvenient.

- Hygiene and Insects in the Room:
The presence of ants in the room and the absence of bathrobes, slippers, and essential hygiene items created an uncomfortable environment that fell below expectations.

- General Conditions and Services:
Common bathrooms frequently being dirty and the overall condition of materials at the pool left much to be desired. Additionally, the limited and repetitive buffet offerings, coupled with quality below expectations, were a disappointment.

- Response Time and Fulfillment of Requests:
The delay in reception responses and the slowness in fulfilling simple requests were additional sources of frustration during the stay.

- Room Cleaning Oversight:
An oversight in room cleaning on one of the days further complicated matters, disrupting the family's logistics.

- Delayed Bicycle Tour Reservation:
Despite booking a bicycle tour for 5:00 PM, bicycles were not available until 5:35 PM, causing considerable inconvenience. We were forced to give up, causing our son's sadness.

Despite these challenges, it is fair to acknowledge some positive aspects, such as the attentiveness of the base staff, the discretion of the staff, and the quality of room and pool dimensions, as well as convenient beach access.

In summary, our stay at Hilton Sal became an unfolding tragedy of unmet promises and squandered opportunities, a stark departure from the opulence one expects from a five-star haven. I hope these issues can be addressed to improve the future stays of guests.
