We opted for both the cheese and the meat fondues. The cheese was flavorful and good to the last bit where they scraped it up from the pot for us. Ooo! Love me some crispy cheese. ???? ???? The variety of sauces for the meat was great and we enjoyed the tomato based sauce the best. For dessert, we tried the mousse. How can you go wring with chocolate mousse? You can't, it was the perfect end to a wonderful evening. Waddled home, back to the Marriott, content. ???? ????

We ordered cheese foundue for 2 persons it was quite big. Side dishes are extra and in small portions. Very tasty. Employees are nice and friendly.

One of the best places in Zurich, Switzerland without a doubt. We came from London to look for fondue in Switzerland and this place didn’t disappoint! The waitress was so friendly and all staff are super welcoming. Highly recommend all to try the “truffle fondue” as it was absolutely delicious with a selection of red wine to compliment. The meat board was also a good addition to accompany the fondue and recommend too!

Zürihte ilk günümde tesadüfi şekilde önünden geçerken buranın en önerilen restaurant olduğunu gördüm, içeri girdim, rezervasyonum yoktu ancak tek kişi olduğum için kolaylıkla yer buldum, mutlaka rezervasyon yaptırın aksi halde beklemek uzun sürer. Fondüe ve menüdeki şarapları güzeldi, fondü yanındaki ekmeği çok lezzetli, garsonlar çok yardımsever fondünün dibini sıyırmadan bırakmıyorlar ve bu lezzetli bir olaymış gerçekten.

This restaurant is clearly aimed at tourists and it operates like a factory, churning through customers. Every guest has to order at least one main course no matter what, and they serve you quickly, trying to get you out as soon as you're finished.
However, staff is kind, so it is not done in a rude way; it's just very clear that this is not the place where you'd go to enjoy a long and relaxing dinner.
In other cities, it would be considered an expensive place (for example: 31 CHF for the basic fondue served only with bread, plus another 7 CHF for the potatoes, or 46 CHF for a cordon bleu), but for Zurich's old town, these are standard prices.
The fondue, which is what they're famous for, is honestly good, especially if this is your first time trying it. Not the best I've had in my life, but definitely well-executed.
Overall, my suggestion would be that if you're looking to try typical Swiss fondue and you're in the old town, this is one of the good options. If you're looking to eat anything else, there are better and cheaper options around.

Even though the place was historical, the waiters were grumpy and the restaurant had a heavy cheese smell.

We had a reservation a week earlier and when we get there the waiter told us every person has to have one main course which we didn't know. Also I believe this rule only applies to tourists because this rule was written only in English and we could see lots of people sharing one meal.

Bir hafta önceden rezervasyon yaptık ve gittiğimizde herkesin ayrı fondue söylemesi gerektiği konusunda uyarıldık, fakat bu uyarı menüde sadece ingilizce yazıyodu. Mekanın atmosferi iyiydi, eminim fondue'nün tadı da güzeldir. Fakat turist dolandırmaya çalışan bir mekan olduğu için burada yemedik.

Kişi başı 1 ana yemek zorunluluğu var. 2 kişi bir fondue söyleyemiyorsunuz yani. Fondue ve cheese bread söyledik. Fena değildi lezzetler ama işletmecinin tavrı iyi değildi. Asık bir suratla karşılandık. Turistik bir mekan bu duruma dikkat edilmeli diye düşünüyorum. Bir daha gitmem. Ancak bizimle ilgilenen garsonlar iyiydi.

Not a huge fondue fan but wanted to try it before leaving Zurich. The cheese and spices smell is a bit overwhelming when you come into the restaurant, but you quickly become nose blind.

Overall, we tried the fondue with bread and potatoes. Pretty tasty cheese. Also had some escargot ???? for appetizer which were *really* good.

As with everything in Zurich, pretty expensive meal in general.

If I could give less than 1 star I would for this massive rip off place. £63 for a pot of cheese, bread potatoes and a few pickles. Must be at least 90% profit for this bunch of crooks.

Belligenheden ligger utrolig hyggeligt, og udefra virker det meget småt, men når man træder ind virker det meget stort, hyggeligt og med en hjemlig stemning. Tjeneren var venlig og meget opmærksom. Ostefonduen var god og cremet. Dejligt sted. Vil klart anbefale. Prisen var dog i den høje ende, men fair for oplevelsen.

The pros : excellent dishes from Canton de Vaud, probably one of the best fondue I ever ate, other dishes are also very appetizing. Service was very efficient.
The cons : restaurant gets busy and bookings are recommended

We had for starter, mixed asparagus (white & green) with sauce hollandaise. Great dish with really fresh ingredients and mouth watering sauce. Then, a family style cheese fondue accompanied by the usual bread pieces. Fondue was nice, not the best I ever had. Also note that their fondue selection is pretty small. The restaurant has a big menu though with a great selection of dishes in addition to the fondues. The wine and beer list are average - not that many.
The restaurant is crowded always as I gathered and it is better to make a reservation. It gets noisy and the smell of the melted cheese is all around the place. Last but not least expect to be very near to your neighboring table.

Si on a peur du premier abord de ne pas trouver de place (un samedi soir, sans réservation), finalement, le restaurant s'avère plus grand que prévu depuis l'extérieur. Pourtant, malgré le monde, on arrive très largement à s'y entendre.
Testé la fondue, bonne et à prix correct (28 CHF pour la "basique") et le verre de vin reste à un prix habituel dans un restaurant zürichois.

Décor plutôt sympa et personnel agréable.
