"The Glass Cafe" should be renamed the "Diamond Cafe" as it is truly a little gem in South Gyle. The food was delicious yet very well priced, the staff are hardworking and very polite, and the atmosphere of the cafe is very friendly and welcoming. The seats outside are a convenient touch as well. I would strongly recommend this place.
Very good breakfast/lunch spot. Discovered it during an office break with some friends and was pleased to have found a great variety of hot foods and drinks served right in front of me.
Their bacon and egg rolls were amazing and my personal favourite is the Madras and Sriracha panini with fresh salad. Can have a little wait when it’s lunch time, but it's definitely worth it. Friendly owner alongside great and welcoming staff. Has now become my regular lunch spot????.
The fully loaded madras wrap was highly recommended to me by a client who travelled all the way from Fife to get one with his dad after trying it one day he was in Edinburgh Park. I ordered over the phone, the wraps were ready when we arrived and piping hot, very well filled, very filling, an incredible amount of tasty curry and lovely crunchy veg. A perfect lunch great service on the phone and in person and will definitely go back again soon. Melanie Pure Offices @ Edinburgh Park
Quality has greatly reduced in recent weeks and the prices have notably crept up again. For the second week in a row food was cold, last week my baked potato was still cold that the butter never even melted despite being in the 'microwave'.
Today my 'toasted' wrap was cold and the cheese hadn't even melted, the soup was clearly a mixture of all the remaining flavours, Scotch broth, chicken, vegetable and randomly pasta - and it tasted exactly like that, it didn't work. For £7.50 I'd advise to go to the Orange van or grab yourself a carvery for an extra £1.50.
Sadly I doubt I will be back anytime soon so another customer has likely left.
Cannot recommend the Glass Cube enough. The food is great, there are a huge range of options and the staff are always warm and welcoming. Have had both breakfast and lunch here on several occasions and would fully recommend. Top class.
Our office team love it here, we work in the offices near by and come for lunch here most days! Delicious fresh filled rolls, wraps and soup! Lots of different fillings! Would recommend popping in for breakfast as morning rolls are great to! Lovely friendly staff, it’s also lovely to pop in and see them!
We are sadly moving offices soon (not to far away) but I know we’ll still come back! ????
My mum gets me food from there when I have school and it’s so good it’s delicious and gluten free too i was so shocked the first time I took a bite the taste was phenomenal
The Green Cube @Verdant: Where to start... Simply with a treble, the classic sausage, bacon and egg roll. This could possibly have been the best treble I've had in a long time, perfect balance of the three, not dripping with grease as you'd expect from having three items. Bacon with a slight crispy edge due to being baked instead of fried, a light egg that didn't slide all over the place and a perfect lorne sausage, not too thick or too thin, prepared on a clamshell grill for even cooking.
Present that with a cheery and helpful host and you've got a 10 score breakfast roll.
Definitely be having another one when I'm passing next time.
Dry vegan haggis roll, barely any haggis and uncooked potato scone. Flat whites are meant to be strong and the milk textured. For £3 a coffee, it should be made properly. Staff are lovely though.

The madras wrap here is unreal
