Geweldige lodge, hele ruime fijne kamers met een balkon met werkelijk fabelachtig uitzicht. Heerlijk gegeten met ons zoontje van 5 jaar ook. Teetee was onze lokale gids, fietstocht gemaakt, tuctuc rit en parc d'anja bezocht met hem, super van genoten. Plek om aan te raden!

The hotel is pleasant enough but given its facilities should cost about half what it does and so we left quite unsatisfied. The pool is nice, the views are outstanding, the staff is friendly if a tad slow in all matters, the restaurant is clearly trying but is acceptable and nothing more. The wifi is mostly just a word and is only available around the reception desk, although it doesn't really work there either even though half the guests are huddled around it hoping in vain that it will. In our bungalow, the bathroom was not fully closed off and due to the acoustics and echo of the room you will hear everything your roommate is doing in the bathroom as if it were about 10 cm from your ears. Consider that and then consider the state of your stomach since you've arrived in Madagascar and consider whether or not you'd rather give that overly intimate experience a miss, especially at these prices.

Nice bungalow with a lot of space, and good hot water. Unfortunately the power sockets in the bungalow didn't work, but they felt really sorry about it and are going te fix it.

The staff was really friendly and speak perfectly English. We did the bike tour which was really fun but also a bit tough. We have seen a lot of the area and even spotted crocodile's.

Erg leuk hotel, goede service en goed eten. Wandeltocht ‘the captain’ gedaan, hadden een vriendelijke gids. Tocht is wel (zoals op de flyer staat) een workout.

wir haben relativ kurzfristig ein doppelzimmer per whatsapp angefragt. die antworten kamen jederzeit sehr schnell und super freundlich. dass sich unser check in aufgrund der fahrt verzögerte, war für das team der lodge kein problem. wir haben ein kostenloses upgrade bekommen und hatten eine spektakuläre aussicht! das zimmer war sehr geräumig und sauber. das bett war sehr bequem, auch moskitos haben sich darin wohl gefühlt.
abendessen und frühstück waren auch sehr lecker! wir würden die betsileo country lodge absolut empfehlen und wiederkommen.

At first view, it didn’t seem to be that nice but we had a very enjoyable stay. The surrounding landscape is amazing, the staff very cute, the breakfast was also one of the best we had in Mada. The room are not spectacular but clearly clean. Still a bit expensive I find

We were disappointed and uncomfortable at Betsileo. Though we booked ahead staff were not aware of our arrival and hadn’t planned for the activities we booked. Our room was soooo uncomfortably hot, and there was no fan. There was not enough water to shower. The mosquito net was decorative rather than functional (could not stay closed and tucked) which also meant I woke up, sweaty with a huge cockroach crawling over me. In the morning the net was full of mosquitoes. And for all that, we still paid 300,000 ariary just for the room. The food for dinner was okay, but not what we ordered. Dinner came an hour late.

On the plus side, the views are incredible. The staff are friendly and speak good English. We had a nice bicycle tour, too. The pool is refreshing.

We were so uncomfortable we cut our stay short to leave after the first night. We left feeling like we’d really been fleeced. It seems the only thing keeping the place afloat is Dutch tour companies putting this place on their clients’ itineraries.

Sehr sympathisches Hotel mit hübsch gestalteten Bungalows in einem schönen Garten mit Pool. Sehr zuvorkommendes Personal. Das nahe gelegene Anja-Reservat lohnt unbedingt einen halbtägigen Besuch. Hier kann man Katta-Lemuren sowie verschiedene Chamäleon- und Vogelarten beobachten.

Hôtel très sympathique avec des bungalows joliment aménagés dans un beau jardin avec piscine. Personnel très prévenant. La réserve d'Anja toute proche mérite absolument une visite d'une demi-journée. On peut y observer des lémuriens katta ainsi que différentes espèces de caméléons et d'oiseaux.

Very pleasant hotel with nicely designed bungalows in a beautiful garden with pool. Very courteous staff. The nearby Anja Reserve is definitely worth a half-day visit. Here you can observe katta lemurs as well as various chameleon and bird species.

Un petit coin de paradis
C'est un lieux paradisiaque avec des prestations de grande qualité en restauration et en hébergement. Piscine et vue imprenable sur la plaine et le massif. Très bon accueil par un personnel disponible et souriant. Une halte à faire absolument.
