Fantastisk strand och förmodligen bästa boendet på Mahe, en riktig pärla. Vi var supernöjda med allt, service, mat, frukost och rum. Två vatten var per dag ingår. Vi rekommenderar att ha hyrbil (gratis parkering ingår) så man kan utforska ön lite friare. Rekommenderar även badskor när du badar på stranden.

Lage: direkt am wundervollen felsgesäumten Carana Beach, der de facto ein "privater" Hotelbeach ist. Ich beurteile hier weder schnorcheln noch schwimmen, ich war nur für 1 Nacht im Hotel. Das setting ist in jedem Fall sensationell schön und gehört zu den Seychelles Top Beaches, den ich in 12 Tagen auf 3 Inseln gesehen habe.
Anlage: recht neu, super gepflegt in herrlichem tropischen Garten, absolut geiles Design, perfektes Farbspiel / Materialien / Licht. Spielt in oberster Liga mit vergleichbaren Resorts bes. in Asien.
Zimmer: hatte Chalet 24 (ohne private Pool). Ein Traum, Design s.o.. Es stimmt alles, bis ins kleinste Detail, mehr kann ich nicht sagen. Bad: simply perfect. Herrliche Illumination im ganzen Zimmer. Balkon: perfekt, Liege, Sitzgelegenheit & Tisch. Das ganze hat mit knapp 500 EUR seinen Preis, ist aber jeden cent im internationalen Vergleich wert.
Service: das kommt hinzu. Sehr gute Ansprache auf allen Ebenen. Aufdeckservice / telefonische Nachfrage / Manager nach dem Dinner. 5* Niveau.
Restaurant: half board dinner. á la carte 3 Gänge. Top taste, nichts zu beanstanden. Fairer Preis für den Wein.
Frühstück: mein bestes Omelette seit langen in einem Hotel. Sehr wertige Auswahl (besonders Käse !). Top !
Fazit: ein wundervolles top geführtes Resort am super beach. Ich empfehle es für 2-3 Nächte. Danach/davor einen anderen Platz auswählen, das verringert das Risiko hinsichtlich Wetter / Strömung / individiuellen Vorlieben etc ;-)

Das Carana Beach Hotel war das dritte und letzte Hotel bei unserer Seychellen Rundreise. Das Zimmer war geräumig und sauber aber einige Mängel wie ein Deckenfluter welcher lose von der Decke hängt, verschimmelter Sonnenschirm auf der Zimmer Terrasse, sowie lose Fliesen in unserem privaten Pool zum Beispiel trübten den Eindruck. Alles ist schon etwas in die Jahre gekommen und müsste dringend saniert werden. Weiters konnten wir nicht im Meer vor dem Hotel schwimmen da ein für September sehr hoher Wellengang dies unmöglich machte. Dafür kann das Hotel aber natürlich nichts. Das Personal war freundlich aber auch distanziert - das kannten wir von unseren vorherigen Unterkünften so nicht. Auch das Abendessen war OK mehr aber nicht. Frühstück dafür aber mit viel Auswahl. Die Lage des Hotels ist nicht optimal und ohne Leihauto oder Taxi wird es mühsam. Ein kleiner Supermarkt ist zu Fuß ca. 20 Minuten entfernt. Insgesamt haben wir uns vom teuersten Hotel unserer Reise deutlich mehr erwartet.

Your concerns regarding certain defects in the infrastructure have been acknowledged and we can assure you that we are actively working to address the issues.
In regards to the sea conditions in September, we appreciate your understanding that this is beyond our control. At certain times of the year, the seas in front of our hotel are a little rougher than usual. However, the ocean temperatures are still warm, and it is still enjoyable to swim. However, if guests prefer, they can swim in our ocean-facing infinity pool just steps away from the beach.
We are sorry to hear that our location posed challenges for you. CaranaBeach Hotel is located in a beautiful environment and lies minutes away from the ever so popular, beautiful Beau Vallon Beach, with its promenade and various restaurants, bars and watersports activities. Seychelles’ vibrant capital, Victoria, is also only a few minutes drive from our hotel, and easily accessible via car, taxi or bus (there is a bus stop directly outside our hotel). Our friendly team at the Front Desk are always available to assist guests wanting to explore beyond the hotel.
We apologize if the staff seemed distant, and we will ensure to reinforce our commitment to a warmer and attentive service. Your comments about dinner have been noted, and we will review our offerings to ensure they meet expectations.

Restaurant très bien situé avec une superbe vue et assiette bien.
Piscine à débordement jolie et très agréable.
En bref très agréable séjour su Carana que je recommande.
Un petit bémol sa situation à l'est donc piscine et terrasses pas ensoleillées en soirée du coup pas de coucher de soleil non plus.
