From the moment I arrived to Kea Retreat, I could feel it was a special spot! Set in a small, beautiful cove overlooking the Aegean Sea, the grounds are perfectly 'one' with their natural surroundings. The cottages are outfitted with simple yet aesthetically pleasing decor and each one has a uniquely special quality about it. The entire team take such good care of you with ease and grace. And the food is not only deliciously prepared by their extraordinary chef, but the ingredients are either grown on premises or sourced locally. The entire week I felt at home, at ease, relaxed and well taken care of. This could not have been a more perfect holiday for me!

Magic. This is the word I can use to describe the epic and divine trip to Kea retreat that I just returned from. The moment you arrive a portal of mother earths energy and love is felt. The entire staff is thoughtful, loving and accommodating to all your needs. The essence of Greeces natural beauty and landscape is captured in the sea, mountains, trees, food, wind and air. Watching the sunrise daily was out of a movie. The FOOD was exceptional. Nourishing and made with such intention I could taste it in every bite. The gift of this space is truly special…I will be back every year to connect with the 5 elements and experience Keas beauty. Highly recommend.

My wife and I are based in Topanga, California and recently visited the island of Kea. We decided to go have dinner one night at Kea Retreat's restaurant to indulge in their tasting menu.

While I am a huge fan of classic Greek taverna food, it was such a delight to be treated with something more modern, upscale, and intimate but while still holding true to the roots of Greek cuisine.

The minute we arrived, we were lovingly welcomed by Yoni and the rest of his team. To start, the location of this place was stunning (including the adventurous drive on a winding dirt road to get there) and hearing about the family's story and how this place was created put huge smiles on our faces.

Their chilled rose geranium tea "welcome drink" was absolutely delicious though the highlight of course was the meal created for us by Chef Uriel. We loved the entire experience so much, we decided to go back again two days later and dine there for our final night on the island.

If we ever make it back to Kea, we'll definitely be returning to this place...

We had a wonderful dining experience at Kea retreat yesterday night , food was absolutely exquisite especially the octopus was to die for, the place is stunning , classy very natural and raw , with beautiful peaceful energy , we simply loved every second, thanks Yoni and his wonderful team ❤️

Dopo mezz’ora di fuoristrada fra tornanti contorti e maltenuti siamo giunti su una piccola spiaggia che per metà è pubblica, si è presentata quella che credo fosse la direttrice dicendoci che non potevamo bere tanto meno mangiare nulla poiché non avevamo preavvisato il nostro arrivo.
Con un fare un po’ scocciato per la nostra presenza imprevista ci ha indicato il cancello senza nemmeno offrirci un bicchiere d’acqua.
Se questa è ospitality!!!

Lieu magnifique, Yoni, le propriétaire des lieux est juste génial ! Les mets sont raffinés, excellents, une belle découverte des produits de la mer revisité par le chef.

Je recommande cette adresse fortement, un petit havre de paix.

The road to get there is a little rough but definitely worth it. The location is amazing. Yoni and the team really took care of us and provided an amazing dinner experience. Food and atmosphere were also fantastic. Looking forward to be back and also stay at the hotel!

A rare oasis, away from urban bustle. The property has a picture perfect beach great for swimming.
But the real attraction is the dining experience. A Michelin star chef reinventing greek cuisine around the concept of freshness and quality ingredients form their own vegetable garden.
The overall style of the boutique hotel is understated luxury, the antithesis of flats and brash displays.
It is a rare find, and for those who are well travelled and are searching genuine authenticity, this is their getaway destination for a short stay or a wonderful dining experience.

A serene place with lots of effort put by the team respecting the location. Yoni greeted us before dinner and showed us around. Dinner was nice with some innovative taste combinations, though we expect it to develop further in the future. The chef is onto something here, and effort is put into the farm to table experience. This place is a true retreat for people wanting to spend time away from nuisance. We will be coming back

Heaven on earth. One of the most beautiful spots in Greece. The natural beauty of the almost privet bay on Kea island, the delicately designed architecture, the gardens, the classes and the amazing food by chef Uri is a rare combination. Not to be missed!!

We had a wonderful experience at Kea Retreat. We went there to test the food of Lygaria kitchen and it was definitely worth the trip.
The place is a real hidden gem and the food worth a Michelin star - so tasteful and fresh from the garden! It is really intimate you feel like home ! You can enjoy the beach, the pool and the outdoor spaces which are really cozy & beautiful before having lunch facing the sea. Also, we had a great welcoming from all the staff, Yoni & his brother are super friendly which makes a real vibe there! Definitely recommend it to anyone staying on the island! We’ll be back ! ????

Το ξενοδοχειο βρισκεται σε ενα πολυ ωραιο μερος που δυστυχως ομως δεν ειναι προσβασιμο με αυτοκινητο. Για την ακριβεια εχει χωματοδρομο που ειναι ακρως επικονδυνο
Με πολυ μεγαλη δυσκολια φτασαμε
Το δωματιο ηταν βρωμικο
Βρηκαμε ακαθαρσιες στην λεκανη, τα ποτηρια ξαναχρησιμοποιημενα και καποιες πετσετες βρωμικες
Μας ειχαν δωσει το δωματιο "Αμυγδαλο" οπου για να το προσεγγισεις πρεπει να αφησεις το αυτοκινητο σου κατω και να συρεις σε μια χωματινη ανηφορα τις βαλιτσες περι τα 10 μετρα
Η χρεωση των 500€/ βραδυ δεν αξιζει μεχρι να φτιαχτει ο δρομος και να βελτιωθουν οι υπηρεσιες
Αξιζει για 200-280€ το βραδυ
Δεν το συνιστουμε γιατι απο ολα τα αρνητικα το πιο επικινδυνο ειναι ο δρομος

Truly magical place - one of the best vacations I have ever had. The location is absolutely stunning, private little bay with beautifully designed hotel, incredibly warm and welcoming hosts and staff and delicious food. Can’t wait to come back next year ????
