For Amsterdam standards , rooms are much more generous. There is also a lift. Quiet location, good for families and close to cafe, tram and museums.

While the rooms are amenable, they are quite tiny and feel pretty worn out (our TV set stopped working the second night because of a deteriorated cable-end). The service is good, but a little annoying reception closes at 21:00. Everything is quite clean and the location is pretty unbeatable, as was the price, so if you're just looking for a place to sleep, look no further, this can't be beaten.

Unser Zimmer glich einer Abstellkammer. Das Haus ist insgesamt extrem hellhörig. Man versteht alles, was die Nachbarn sprechen und wird wach, wenn sie heimkommen, da die Zimmertür nicht richtig schließt. Die Ausstattung ist insgesamt auf das Nötigste reduziert. Entspricht der Ausstattung einer Jugendherberge. Die Lage ist super.

Hotellet ligger i Museums Kvarteret, meget tæt på Van Gog museet og Rijgsmuseet. Man kan gå hele vejen til centrum, som er ca. 4 km fra hotellet. Der er restaurant 30 m fra hotellet og en række flere langs vejen. Der findes nogle spændende kunst butikker i denne bydel. Meget fin pris for overnatning (under 500kr.).

Loved our stay here. Right next to Vondelpark. Nice, clean rooms and a huge shower. Great staff and location.

Superó mis expectativas , había leído mensajes muy malos , aún así me decidí por la ubicación tan espectacular y su menor precio comparado con los hoteles del sector . Destacó el servicio de Leslie en recepción , inmensas gracias por hacer de mi estancia algo agradable Limpio , camas cómodas y solución de dudas en todo momento . Lo único a mejorar es que no cuenta con aire acondicionado .

Wonderful stay all around ! My husband and I booked this place for a 3 night stay and it was absolutely perfect. Good clean bed, room, bathroom, with an absolutely exceptional staff. Everyone was so kind and welcoming, we were able to rent bikes directly from the hotel, and they held our luggage after check out so we could enjoy the day. It is also directly next to Vondel Park- the location is incredible ! Highly recommend this hotel for your next Amsterdam adventure, extra kudos to the lovely staff.

My Parents’s reservation canceled by another hotel and they find here, hotel was fully booked but Adam and team helped to find place for them. I wanted to say thank you with this comment. They are really good people ????

Het hotel/de kamers zijn wat gedateerd maar ze zijn begonnen met renoveren (wat helaas niet gemeld was op site).
Het is een lekker knus hotel met vriendelijk personeel.
Volgens de site zijn er een waterkoker en föhn aanwezig in de kamer, helaas ontbraken deze in onze kamer. Maar ik vermoed dat als ik hierom zou vragen ze me deze hadden gegeven.
Het hotel heeft geen restaurant of ontbijtservice maar aan de overkant zit een coffeeconcept store waar je dagelijks (zelfs op zondag) vanaf 09:00 uur koffie/thee/croissants/broodjes kunt kopen.
Hotel ligt tegen het Vondelpark aan, op steenworpafstand van een tramhalte en in een hele rustige straat net buiten het drukke centrum.
Al met al een prima prijs/kwaliteit verhouding, zeker voor herhaling vatbaar voor een dagje-nachtje Amsterdam!!!

Touristenfalle!!! Von außen betrachtet ein sehr schönes Haus mit perfekter Lage direkt am Vondelpark. Auch der Eingang und die Rezeption wirken noch einigermaßen ansprechend. Dann das Zimmer....absolutes No-Go. Der Teppich hatte Flecken, an der Decke war die Tapete aufgequollen ( sah aus wie ein Wasserschaden). Neben der Heizung dunkle Flecken an der Wand. Das Wasserrohr über dem Duschkopf verstaubt und dreckig, die Toilette viel zu nah an der Dusche. Jeden Tag hat der Zimmerservice zumindest die Handtücher ausgetauscht und das Bett gemacht (nicht frisch bezogen).

Such a shame and disgrace of a beautiful building and location like this.
It's transformed in a cheap hostel like hotel.
I had to manually install the air conditioning myself - plug in, attach hose, hang it out of the window. The nightstand were falling apart. The reception closes up early with those roll-shutters like some night shop.
The "doublebed" are two singles in different corners of the room else they wouldn't fit, and they're slightly on an angle so you roll out 10x per night. Not ideal.
Absolute waste. Wish I wasn't such a cheapskate when booking it.
Edit: it's now 3 at night and the fire alarm is on for half an hour now, no one is here and no one is solving it. What a mess.

Although in a great location Hotel Atlas is basically nothing more than a hostel with the cheapest most basic facilities money can buy. We had 2 single beds in a room that could barely accommodate 1 bed. Up there with some of the worst places I have stayed. The reception was only open from 3pm due to maintenance
